Patient Information
Srinu 30 years male patient complaining of swelling & pain in the Lt.
shoulder since Oct.'99 LT. shoulder swelling is gradual on set & slowly
increasing. History of fever for 1 week in the January. On 15th jan 2000
patient underwent operation for swelling at ongole. They did open biopsy.
Biopsy reported as no inflammatory cells & no malignant cells. From Jan.
it is growing slowly. Now restriction of abduction movement after 90
degrees.
At present, on examination No local rise of temperature. No tenderness.
Swelling is very soft. No loss of weight. appetite is normal. On high
resolution sonography, Lt.shoulder shows fluid in the joint space with freely
moving echogenic lesions. Certain areas shows increased vascularity.
Slight reddish fluid is obtained on aspiration.
